RKZ Surabaya (St. Vincentius a Paulo Catholic Hospital) was established in 1925. But they have operated here since 1934. There’s a Garden area which was built in 1934 and you will also see a statue in the middle of the garden. They have a responsibility as cultural heritage therefore some areas shouldn’t be altered. Several buildings will look the same as the 1930s including the gardens and statues.
In the RKZ organization structure, it’s called the kitchen section the food processing department. They have a responsibility to ensure meal preparation not only for the patients but also for all employees. Of Course, that’s not easy to do. For Food preparation, there are important things to do. First, Of Course, it must be healthy. They are always concerned about food hygiene. Starting from the ingredients they always get from a trusted supplier. All ingredients will be selected which have the best quality. Then it will be processed due to their kitchen needs. As we know that meal preparation needs some different processes such as cutting or it will be mashed.
Therefore they need some different tools to process such as choppers, grinders, or juicers. All tools help their process to be fastened. And the next step is the cooking process. The Chef will cook based on the menu. Food will be fried, boiled, or steamed.
